In the 2017 issue of Falmouth Magazine, we worked with a number of local contributors. Deborah Scanlon is the executive director of Woods Hole Historical Museum and her family has lived in town for 11 generations! She writes about what it means to be from Falmouth (because she would know). Lannan O’Brien interviews the local fire department about where they go to blow off steam after a hard day’s work. Janice Rohlf writes about a home designed by Polhemus Savery DaSilva Architects Builders (did you know they have a poet on staff?). Bill Higgins has attended the Falmouth Road Road 43 times. He writes about the founder and director, who also manages the Boston Marathon. We also explore the beaches, Shining Sea Bikeway, and the Woods Hole dining scene. The issue also includes a comprehensive restaurant listing.
On June 8th, we had a magazine launch party at Highfield Hall, a beautiful location in Falmouth. All the contributors, editorial subjects and advertisers got together to celebrate all that is Falmouth!
